Huawei is reportedly considering adopting the design of the Huawei P50’s selfie sensor on its next smartphones. The flagship should, according to sources, have a hole in the middle of the screen where the camera will nestle. A choice that the Chinese manufacturer would like to keep in the future.

The release of the Huawei P50 is getting closer and rumors are jostling at the gate. The next flagship of the manufacturer should normally be launched in June – if we stick to the leaks on the subject – and, already, new information is reaching us about the next projects under development. The Digital Chat Station leaker, to which we owe many of the leaks that have proven to be accurate, indeed claims that Huawei is considering keep the design of the P50’s selfie sensor.

This decision did not concern only the smartphones of the P series. On the contrary, the Chinese firm would plan to develop it. on medium and high-end models. In addition, the latter would also have plans to offer this design on flat screens as on curved screens. It is therefore a whole new generation of smartphones that Huawei is preparing to present, on the eve of the launch of HarmonyOS.

The next Huawei will also have a central hole for the selfie sensor

The Huawei P50 and its Pro version have now both been revealed from all angles, via multiple renderings, stolen photos and other videos. Each of its leaks agrees on the design of the next flagship and in particular on the presence the central punch on the front of the phone. It would therefore not be a surprise that Huawei decides to postpone this design choice on its next models, at a time when many high-end phones already offer the latter.
