Samsung should soon announce its Galaxy Watch 4 at an event organized on August 11. According to Sammobile, the terminal would have a brand new SoC, the ExyonosW920. A first since 2018.

On August 11, Samsung will hold an Unpacked conference where lots of new products will be announced. Little suspense, since everything has already leaked on the net. Among the objects unveiled, the Galaxy Watch 4. We know today that it will embed a still new processor.

The Sammobile site, always well informed, tells us that the connected watch would be equipped with an Exynos W920 processor. It would thus replace the Exynos 9110 which has been used on the brand’s watches since 2018. The latter has been used on the Watch Active 1 and 2 and on the Galaxy Watch 3.

This is the first time that this SoC will be used, so we do not yet know its capabilities. However, Sammobile indicates that the user would find his account there since the CPU would be 1.25 times more powerful than the old one, while the GPU part would be 8.8 times more powerful. What allow a little faster navigation as well as more animations on the screen. On top of that, the watch is said to have 1.5 GB of RAM, yet another improvement over the Watch 3.

The leaks have already told us a lot about this watch. It would be available in two versions: the Classic, which would adopt a chic design with a circular dial, and the Watch 4, with a more sporty design. You will have to choose between four sizes: 40, 42, 44 and 46 mm. Unless there is an accident, all these versions should be presented at the Unpacked conference on August 11.

In addition to this, Samsung is also expected to announce its two new foldable terminals : the Galaxy Z Fold 3 as well as the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
