The Google Play Store has its own section that lists all the apps installed on your phone. This section also shows all previously installed applications. If the Google Play Store doesn’t show the apps installed on your phone, it’s easy to bring them back as shown here. If the screen of installed applications and games appears blank on the white screen, this article will help you as well.

1. Restart the phone

If the My Apps and Games section is missing or not working properly in the Play Store, you can try restarting your Android phone or tablet. Press and hold the power key on your phone until the menu appears. Tap Restart or Shut down, depending on the available option.

2. Look at another place

The My Apps and Games section was once available under the three icons in the Play Store bar. If you can’t find it there, just tap the profile icon in the top right corner of the Play Store. All options in the left sidebar have been moved to this menu. Tap Manage apps and device.

You will see a redesigned screen of what was available in previous versions of the Play Store. Now you have Play protection, updates, storage, the ability to share apps, your notes, and reviews on one screen on the Overview tab. If you want to update all applications manually, press the “Update all” button. Alternatively, to view the available updates and update them manually one at a time, tap “View details” in the “Updates available” section.

Similarly, you may think that the Play Store Library option is missing, but it is not. It has just been named and moved. Tap Manage next to the Preview tab at the top. For the ignorant, the Library section had all the previously installed applications.

To view all previously installed applications, first tap the Administration tab. There are different filters at the top. By default, Installed Filter is selected, so you can see all installed applications. Tap Installed filter and select Not installed to see previously installed applications. You can also sort apps by name, most used, minimum size, latest updates, and size using the sort option. Learn interesting and similar ways to use the Google Play Store.

In a nutshell, the Google Play Store has not removed it from the My Apps and Games section. It has been renamed (and moved) to Manage Applications and Devices.

3. Clear the cache and data

If you get errors like “Problems found,” “Error checking for updates,” or “Waiting to download in Play Store”, you’ll need to clear your Play Store cache and data. This does not remove applications or data from your phone. However, you will lose Play Store settings that can be restored later.

Follow these steps to clear your Play Store cache and data:

1. Open Settings on your Android phone.

2. Select Apps or Apps and notifications and tap Google Play Store. If you don’t see it, tap “Show all apps” and then Google Play Store.

3. Tap “Save & Cache” to see the space used by the Google Play Store and clear its cache. First press “Clear cache”. Restart your phone to see if the issue is resolved. If the problem persists, tap “Clear Data” in step 3. Then restart your phone.

Also repeat the steps for Google Play services and clear its cache and data.

4. Remove updates from the Google Play Store

If this were a third-party app, I would have suggested deleting it. But since Play Store is a system app, you can’t uninstall it completely. However, you can uninstall its latest updates. It also helps resolve a Google Play Store that doesn’t show a problem with my app.

To do this, go to “Settings -> Applications -> Google Play Store” on your phone, as you did with the method above. Tap the three-dot icon at the top and select Delete Updates from the menu.

5. Scan applications with Play Protect

Also try trying to scan apps manually with Play Protect. Often, this also prevents installed apps from appearing in the Play Store. To do this, open the Play Store and go to Manage apps and device by tapping the profile icon. Tap the first option that says something similar to Play Protect. Press the Scan button on the next screen.

6. Sign in with the correct Google Account

If you’re trying to check previously installed apps from the Play Store, you’ll need to sign in with the correct Google Account that was used to download those apps. To switch accounts in the Play Store, tap the profile icon on the Play Store home screen. When the menu appears, tap the small arrow next to your name and select the correct account.

7. Update your Google Play Store

Frequently installed apps that do not appear in the Play Store may be due to a Play Store error. You can fix this problem by updating the Play Store. Yes, you can also upgrade the Play Store.

To do this, open the Play Store and tap the profile icon. Tap “Settings -> About”. Scroll down and tap the Play Store version once. If an update is available, the Play Store will be updated automatically. Alternatively, you can manually update the Play Store by installing its APK.

Hopefully the solutions above should fix an issue that my Google Play Store app doesn’t show. If the above solutions don’t help, you might want to try other solutions, such as switching between mobile data and Wi-Fi, turning off the VPN, and setting the correct date and time on your phone.

While the Play Store is a one-stop shop for downloading apps, you can also install apps on Android without the Play Store. Some options for the Play Store are also available. Finally, if you love to download and explore apps, know how to avoid overpayments in the Play Store.
